Chapter 1: The Reach of Explanations

A broader chapter for sharpening what counts as a good explanation, useful when daily inputs are full of claims, demos, and partial narratives.

Insight

What Do We Know About the Microplastics Inside Us?;Hacker News 的 Chatto is now Open Source;Hacker News 的 Mistral's Robostral Navigate: a state of the art robotics navigation model;Hacker News 的 SWE-1.7 Reach Near GPT 5.5 and Opus Intelligence;Hacker News 的 Show HN: Microsoft releases Flint, a visualization language for AI agents;Hacker News 的 Decoding the obfuscated bash script on a Uniqlo t-shirt。

GPT‑Live

A bug which affected only left handed users

The largest commercial autonomous system on earth isn't a robotaxi fleet — it's Zipline, which has flown 140 million autonomous miles with zero safety incidents. Co-founder Keller Rinaudo Cliffton and Eric Watson, who leads systems engineering and safety, explain why the drone itself is only 15% of the solution. The rest spans inventory management, air traffic integration, and engineering systems such as a dual flight computer failover protocol that recently saved a delivery mid-flight. They trace Zipline's path from launching blood delivery in Rwanda in 2016 (when drone delivery was illegal i

In this session, we'll be building a coding agent that implements ACP — covering protocol design, session lifecycle management, and handling tool calls. The session ends with a live demo of the finished agent running inside Zed, showing what ACP looks like in practice from both sides of the protocol.

With the recent development of AI, either you or your friend probably vibe coded a game using Gemini, on Three.js. But that is old news now. If everyone can do that, what is next? The next massive hit, the one that millions of people across the world will play, is just about to be born. Wanna know more? Come see this talk!

For the closing keynote of AIEWF2026, Theo provokes you to think bigger. In this keynote from the AI Engineer World's Fair, developer and YouTuber Theo Browne (@t3dotgg) argues that the rapid evolution of AI models—moving from tool-calling (Sonnet 3.5) to long-running task execution (Opus 4.5) and now orchestration (Mythos)—requires software engineers to fundamentally change how they build products. Key Themes: Rejecting Skeuomorphism: Browne compares the current state of software development to the design shift in iOS 7, urging developers to move away from legacy mental models and tools (li
